In accordance
with the U.S.
Code at Title 47, Section
227(a)(2)(B), a computer/modem/printer meets the definition of a

monetary loss, or $10,000, whichever is greater, for EACH violation. In accordance with 18 U.S.C. Section 1341 and 39 U.S.C. Section 3005, high-tech chain letters disseminated over the Internet, or that may require the copying and mailing of computer files or disks rather than paper, regardless of what technology is used to advance the scheme, if the mail is used at any step along the way, are still illegal. This is our written warning: We will immediately electronically forward any such E-Mail to: your local ISP, the FBI's and FTC's Consumer Fraud Offices, as well as the U.S. Postal Inspectors for appropriate enforcement actions. |
